My philosophy

Whether it be wandering out in my home town in northern Sweden, when the snow is falling so thick you can barely see an arm’s length infront of you. Or travelling to Berlin, wandering amongst all the people on the U-bahn, finding your way through a completely new environment, this world can be overwhelming, like an amplifier of all the noise that’s out there. And it’s through photography I try to somewhat make sense of it all.

Perhaps I’m somewhat idealistic about the world. When out there, I notice the confident amongst the afraid. Although we desire the same, there’s a stark contrast in how we perceive the world and thus I can only come to the conclusion that we live in subjectivity. Which is why no photography can be said to be objective, in fact, nothing in this subjectivity can be said to be objective, there are no absolutes.
